UN: Over 1 million women lost access to humanitarian aid due to funding cuts

UN Women reported that at least one million women have lost access to humanitarian aid and other critical support services over the last 18 months as a result of budget cuts. The funding reductions have hit programmes serving the world's most vulnerable women. The agency warned of severe consequences if the cuts are not reversed.
