SAG-AFTRA warns Meta's Muse Image AI uses Instagram photos without consent

The SAG-AFTRA actors' union has warned its members and Instagram users about Meta's new AI tool called Muse Image, which can use publicly available photos to generate new images without the explicit consent of their subjects or creators. The union published step-by-step instructions on how to opt out in Instagram's settings. SAG-AFTRA urged all users to disable the feature to protect their likeness.
