Wągrowiec Hospital Missed Appendicitis in Pregnant Patient — Prosecutors Investigate

The Poznań prosecutor's office and the Greater Poland Medical Chamber are investigating a case in which a pregnant patient at a hospital in Wągrowiec was not diagnosed with appendicitis despite presenting severe symptoms. The woman discharged herself and went to another hospital, where she was operated on immediately. Both the prosecutorial and medical disciplinary bodies are now examining the incident.
