Arsenal sign Spain full-back Ona Batlle from Barcelona on a free transfer

Arsenal have signed Spanish right-back Ona Batlle, 27, on a free transfer following her departure from Barcelona. She is the club's fourth summer signing, joining Georgia Stanway, Selina Cerci and Geraldine Reuteler, all of whom arrived on free transfers from Bundesliga clubs. Arsenal aimed to complete the bulk of their transfer business early in the window.
