China recovers orbital booster in reusable rocket breakthrough

China has successfully recovered an orbital-class booster rocket, joining a small group of space powers capable of reusing such hardware. The Chinese developers employed a different landing method from that used by SpaceX and other existing players. The feat marks a major milestone in China's reusable launch vehicle programme.
