Rotterdam museum spreads 360 kg of peanut butter on gallery floor

A museum in Rotterdam has honoured late Dutch artist Wim T Schippers by spreading 800 lb (around 360 kg) of peanut butter across a gallery floor. The hexagonal installation, called Pindakaasvloer (Peanut Butter Floor), recreates a work Schippers conceived in 1962 and first exhibited in 1969. The artist specified the butter should be spread smoothly and without any educational purpose.
