South Korean memory chipmaker SK Hynix raised $26.5 billion in its US American depositary receipt offering — the largest ever US first-time share sale by a foreign company — as tech giants race to fund AI infrastructure. EasyJet has received a fresh takeover bid from Apollo Global Management at 715 pence per share, topping a rival offer from Castlelake and setting up a potential bidding war between the two US investment funds. Both stories dominated European market opening on 10 July 2026.
