Exhumations of 674 Poles murdered by UPA to begin July 13 in Ostrówki
Ukraine's Institute of National Remembrance announced that exhumations will begin on July 13 at the sites of the former villages of Ostrówki and Wola Ostrowiecka, where remains of 674 Poles murdered by OUN-UPA units in 1943 were previously discovered. The work marks a significant step in commemorating the victims of the Volhynia massacres. The announcement follows ongoing Polish-Ukrainian discussions about historical reconciliation.
