Storms Wrecked Beaches on Mierzeja, but Tourists Flocked to the Sea Anyway

Severe weather has badly damaged beaches along the Mierzeja sandbar, stripping dunes and eroding the shoreline. Despite the destruction, large numbers of tourists arrived at the seaside, unwilling to give up their summer holidays.
