Nawrocki appoints new Supreme Court chamber head — judge calls it entrenching a flawed system
President Karol Nawrocki appointed Maria Szczepaniec as head of the Supreme Court's Chamber of Professional Accountability. Supreme Court judge Bohdan Bieniek said the move "aims to entrench a situation that has been flawed from the very beginning." The chamber has been at the centre of Poland's rule-of-law dispute for years.
