Polymarket seeks US approval for margin trading on prediction markets

Prediction market platform Polymarket has applied for regulatory approval to offer margin trading — positions not fully collateralised — to US customers. The application follows authorisation granted to rival platform Kalshi in March. The move could significantly expand trading volumes and accessibility on US prediction markets.
