San Diego Comic-Con 2026 is fast approaching and that means that the panels for the biggest entertainment convention are being revealed. This year already looks set to be an all-timer with Marvel returning to Hall H ahead of the release of Avengers: Doomsday later this year. Not only that, but plenty of other big studios are attending this year's SDCC, including DC, Prime Video, and Paramount.

While information is only being released slowly for what's happening and when, we've compiled all of the details you need to know about SDCC 2026. This includes the schedule, how to watch panels, who is confirmed as attending, and what our biggest predictions are about what might be announced. Not only this, but we've also got a handy FAQ section below to keep you in the loop with the entire San Diego Comic-Con 2026 schedule.

San Diego Comic-Con 2026 dates

When is San Diego Comic-Con?

San Diego Comic-Con kicks off on with a preview night on Wednesday July 22 . The main action then gets underway between Thursday July 23 and Sunday July 26 . All of the events take place in and around the San Diego Convention Center and the local hotels in the city. GamesRadar+ will be on the ground to keep you updated on all of the goings-on.

While we've included the times and dates of the panels announced so far above, below we go into a bit more detail about what to expect every day. Usually Thursday starts off slowly with Friday and Saturday being the biggest days of the convention. Check out what we know so far.

Thursday, July 23

(Image credit: Paramount Pictures) The first few panels have been announced for the main opening day of San Diego Comic-Con. Among the line-up so far is a panel dedicated to Avatar Aang: The Last Airbender, ahead of a fan-screening of the movie on Friday. The usual Directors on Directors panel hosted in Hall H every year has also been confirmed Weapons and Resident Evil director Zach Creggor speaking with Dungeons and Dragons: Honor Among Thieves helmers Jonathan Goldstein and John Francis Daley. Batman: Caped Crusader season 2 and A24's new sci-fi movie Onslaught have panels as well. Finally, Studio Ghibli will also have a presence at San Diego Comic-Con 2026 as usual, but it's not yet clear what they'll be presenting this year.

Friday, July 24

(Image credit: Prime Video) Prime Video will be heading to Hall H on Friday with two very big shows. Blade Runner 2099 will be showcased alongside The Rings of Power season 3 . Expect cast, crew, and probably a trailer for both. Elsewhere, My Adventures With Superman season 3 will have a panel attended by its cast and creatives. The full line-up for Friday isn't yet confirmed so expect this one to grow, and we're still waiting to see when Lanterns will have its panel scheduled for.

Saturday, July 25

(Image credit: Marvel Entertainment) The Marvel Studios panel is the main event on Saturday. The studio is heading back to Hall H this year, ahead of the release of Avengers: Doomsday later in 2026. Usually the Marvel panel is one of the last major events on the SDCC calendar and this year is no different with a time scheduled of 5.30pm PDT in Hall H. Elsewhere on the line-up so far is Prime Video movie Carrie and DC movie Batman: Knightfall Part 1: Knightfall.

Who will be appearing at San Diego Comic-Con 2026?

The list of confirmed names at SDCC 2026 are yet to be confirmed. However, we're expecting that the major cast and creatives of Avatar Aang: The Last Airbender will there be for their panel. Marvel also is likely to feature Kevin Feige as well as a whole host of guests that they're likely to keep a secret until the panel. We'll keep you updated as soon as new names are announced.

How can I watch San Diego Comic-Con 2026?

As is the case every year, the panels at San Diego Comic-Con 2026 will not be live-streamed. This means you have to be in the room in order to be able to watch them. Skoda’s electric SUV beat three ’80s icons in a straight-line sprint.

It managed the win despite making the least power of the four.

On a longer road, all three classics might have driven away.

Anyone who came of age in the ’80s is living in a different world now. Back then, nobody would have guessed that the poster cars from Ferrari and Lamborghini would one day lose to a family SUV. Technology keeps chipping away at acceleration numbers, and the latest proof comes from a stunt staged by Skoda, the value brand of the VW Group.

The automaker took its quickest production model, the Skoda Elroq vRS , and lined it up against some of the most recognizable sportscars and supercars of the ’80s for a straight-line shootout. The opposition consisted of a brown Ferrari Testarossa, an orange Lamborghini Countach 25th Anniversary, and a burgundy Porsche 944 Turbo.

Back in their heyday, these machines were the undisputed kings of the road. However, ICE nostalgia is no match for the instantaneous torque of modern EVs , and the crossover won the drag race by a wide gap, leaving the legends behind.

Watching the footage closely gives a sense of what the four cars ran at the Dunsfold track. There’s no telling how gentle the drivers were with the clutches of these coveted classics , but the finishing order reflects their real-world launch performance well enough.

The Skoda Elroq vRS crossed the line at 19.19 seconds, followed by the Ferrari at 20.08 seconds, the Lamborghini at 21.22 seconds and the Porsche at the 22.10 mark.

While this particular drag race had a clear winner, it is worth noting that all three classics would easily beat the EV on a longer stretch of road. Skoda caps the Elroq’s top speed at 111 mph (179 km/h), well under the 162 mph (261 km/h) of the Porsche, the 180 mph (290 km/h) of the Ferrari, and the 188 mph (303 km/h) of the Lamborghini.

In any case, the flagship trim of the family EV with its dual-motor AWD setup produces 335 hp (250 kW / 340 PS), allowing a 0-100 km/h (0-62 mph) in 5.4 seconds. For comparison, the 5.2-liter V12 of the Lamborghini produced 449 hp (335 kW / 455 PS), the 4.9-liter flat-12 of the Ferrari was good for 385 hp (287 kW / 390 PS), and the turbo 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine of the Porsche made 247 hp (184 kW / 250 PS) back when they left the factory floor.

Another advantage of the Skoda Elroq vRS over the classic models is its spacious five seater cabin and the generous boot capacity of 470 lt (16.6 cubic feet), making it significantly more practical as a daily in combination with the standard Dynamic Chassis Control system. Despite its larger body, it is also significantly more aerodynamic than the wedge-shaped supercars, with a drag coefficient of 0.26 cd.

Performance is one thing, but the silent electric powertrain is no match for the glorious sound of the 12-cylinder engines from the past. Furthermore, looks might be subjective, but we seriously doubt anyone would pick the Skoda over the Ferrari, the Lamborghini, or the Porsche in a beauty contest.

At the end of the day, it is fun knowing that a family SUV of today can outrun the coolest supercars of the ’80s. In fact, if you drive a Tesla Model Y Performance you can probably beat supercars from the ’00s. But which one would you rather have in your garage?

TL;DR

Google is working to bring back the old “Basic cut” video preset under the new name “Auto trim.”

Spotted within Google Photos v7.83.0, the tool would live inside a renamed “Quick fix” (formerly “Auto”) section.

The Auto trim feature will automatically cut excess footage from the start and end of a video.

Google revamped the video editing experience in Google Photos last year, but the overhaul came at the cost of several convenient features. Among the casualties was the “Presets” tab, which allowed users to apply one-tap changes like “Basic cut” and “Slow-mo.” Thankfully, it seems Google is preparing to resurrect the core functionality of the Basic cut tool under a brand-new moniker: Auto trim.
