"Assassin's Creed: Black Flag Resynced" has been review-bombed on Steam since launch, with players flooding the page with negative scores to protest its extensive microtransaction system. Even buyers of the Deluxe edition must pay extra for ship and character customisation options as well as a treasure map — all add-ons together cost $90 (339 PLN in Poland), more than the price of the Deluxe edition itself. Players argue that these items should be included at no extra charge for Deluxe buyers.
