Bayeux Tapestry returns to England after nearly 1,000 years – on display in London from 10 August

The famous Bayeux Tapestry, the nearly 1,000-year-old medieval masterpiece, has returned to England for the first time in centuries. Transported from France with special precautions, the monumental artefact will be on public display in London from 10 August.
