Ukraine struck 697 targets inside Russia; Russian offensive pace halved, says Syrskyi

Ukrainian Armed Forces Commander-in-Chief Gen. Oleksandr Syrskyi revealed that Ukraine has struck 697 targets on Russian territory. The pace of Russian advances in the first half of 2026 fell by more than half, and the number of active Russian offensive directions dropped from 13 to six or seven. Syrskyi warned, however, that the Kremlin is preparing new attacks in southern Ukraine.
