Sejm speaker Czarzasty announces widow's pension rise to 50% in 2028

Poland's widow's pension currently stands at 15% of a second benefit entitlement, rising to 25% in 2027. Sejm speaker Włodzimierz Czarzasty announced that in 2028 the benefit could be further raised to 50%. The changes will affect widows and widowers entitled to two pension or disability benefits.
