Scuffles at Smolensk Anniversary — Police Block Kaczyński from Laying Wreath

Polish police prevented PiS leader Jarosław Kaczyński from laying a wreath at the monument to Lech Kaczyński during the monthly Smolensk anniversary commemoration in Warsaw. Kaczyński argued with officers on the scene. Counter-protesters who gathered to disrupt the ceremony clashed physically with those attending the event.
