Researchers have confirmed that a person's name can influence their physical appearance, particularly facial features. The effect is linked to social expectations and stereotypes associated with certain names, which shape a person's behaviour and facial expressions over a lifetime — a phenomenon sometimes called the Dorian Gray effect.
