NIK audit: Banaś spent 270,000 PLN on outside lawyers and media during his tenure

An internal audit ordered by current NIK (Supreme Audit Office) chief Mariusz Haładyj revealed that nearly 270,000 PLN was spent on legal opinions from outside law firms during Marian Banaś's presidency. Some opinions were clearly commissioned to serve Banaś's personal needs, including one concerning his son, whom he appointed as a public advisor. The findings were published by "Rzeczpospolita".
