85th anniversary of Jedwabne massacre marked amid far-right counter-gathering

Prayers were held in Jedwabne, Podlaskie region, on Friday to mark the 85th anniversary of the massacre of local Jews. The Institute of National Remembrance concluded the killings were carried out by Polish neighbours of the victims, acting on German instigation. Far-right groups rejecting those findings held a separate gathering in the town at the same time.
