Polish armed forces exceed 200,000 soldiers and personnel

The total number of professional soldiers, officers, voluntary basic service members and territorial defence force soldiers in Poland has exceeded 200,000. The growth has been especially rapid in recent years. The number of civilian employees working for the military has also increased.
