Red alert in Italy as extreme temperatures grip cities

Italian authorities have issued red alerts as extreme temperatures grip the country's cities. The alert is part of the same third summer heatwave forecast to bring up to 45°C, lasting at least until 20 July. Residents and tourists are urged to take special precautions.
