Wildfires kill at least 12 people across southern Spain

Wildfires raging across southern Spain have killed at least 12 people. Earlier this week, a separate blaze burning out of control in southern France forced the evacuation of more than 10,000 residents from around two dozen small towns and villages. The region has been battling intense heat and drought conditions fuelling the fires.
