Chinese village named "Bolesławiec" mass-produces fake Polish pottery

Chinese manufacturers named their village "Bolesławiec" to lend credibility to their imitations of the famous Polish pottery from Bolesławiec. Mass production of cheap copies threatens the original craft and economically harms Polish artisans, who cannot compete on price with Chinese factories. The issue affects one of Poland's most recognisable handcraft traditions.
