US Ambassador: Jedwabne was an exception, not the rule in occupied Poland

US Ambassador to Poland Tom Rose published a video marking the 85th anniversary of the Jedwabne pogrom, stating that the massacre was an exception rather than the rule among Poles under Nazi occupation. He stressed that few Poles betrayed their Jewish neighbours, even as Nazis tried to implicate the entire nation in the murder of Jews.
