Animated horror comedy "Freddy the 13th" set for October 13, 2028 release

Paramount Animation has set Friday, October 13, 2028 as the release date for an untitled animated horror comedy based on Yehudi Mercado's indie comic "Freddy the 13th." The film will be directed by Dan Trachtenberg and co-directed, and was first announced at the Annecy International Animation Film Festival. The Friday the 13th release date is a deliberate nod to the story's theme.
