India's central bank faces $100bn challenge unwinding its rupee defence position
India's central bank, the Reserve Bank of India (RBI), spent two years building one of the world's largest bearish dollar positions to prop up a persistently weak rupee. It now faces the challenge of unwinding that roughly $100 billion position without destabilising currency markets.
