Merz received a revolver from Erdoğan at NATO summit but cannot keep it

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan gave every leader attending the NATO summit a revolver as a gift. German Chancellor Friedrich Merz cannot keep the weapon for himself, as German regulations require officials to hand over valuable gifts to the state. A government spokesperson told BILD that Merz "is pleased with every gift as a sign of appreciation."
