CAR-T cell therapy offers myeloma remission but remains unrefunded in Poland

Modified T-cell therapy (CAR-T) gives patients with plasma cell myeloma a genuine chance of remission, potentially replacing years of conventional treatment. However, in Poland the therapy is not reimbursed by the public health system, leaving most patients unable to access it. Doctors argue that funding the treatment would ultimately benefit the state budget in the long run.
