Oldest quasar ever found shines with the light of a trillion suns

The ESA's Euclid space telescope has uncovered 31 quasars from the early universe, including the oldest and most distant quasar ever observed. This record-breaking object existed just 670 million years after the Big Bang and shines with the brightness of a trillion suns. Quasars form when supermassive black holes surrounded by swirling accretion disks generate intense friction that outshines entire galaxies.
