Złoty weakens, euro hits 4.32 PLN after NBP chief signals rate cut after summer
The euro rose to 4.32 PLN — its highest level since November 2024 — following a press conference by National Bank of Poland Governor Adam Glapiński. Glapiński suggested a possible 25-basis-point interest rate cut after the summer break. The market reacted immediately with a weakening of the Polish zloty.
