The Ram TRX made headlines when it first arrived as a 702-horsepower answer to the Ford Raptor. Now, with 777 horsepower (579 kW) under the hood, it’s even more outrageous. But the performance truck landscape has changed considerably since the TRX first appeared. Is it still the king of the supertruck game?

Key Specs

The new SRT TRX runs a 6.2-liter supercharged V8 making 777 hp (579 kW) and 707 lb-ft (958 Nm), starting at $99,995 before a $2,795 destination charge, or $102,790 out the door. It weighs 6,376 lbs (2,892 kg) and returns 10 city, 14 highway, 12 combined. During our testing, we achieved a 0-60 run of 4.57 seconds and an in-town fuel economy figure of 9.4 mpg.
