Witness: Daphne Caruana Galizia Screamed in Panic Seconds Before Fatal Car Bomb

A witness at the trial of a businessman accused of ordering the murder of Maltese journalist Daphne Caruana Galizia testified that she screamed in panic moments before the explosion that killed her. Caruana Galizia died in 2017 when a remotely detonated bomb planted under her car's driver's seat went off, after she had published reports exposing political and financial corruption in Malta. The case sparked mass protests and led to the resignation of Prime Minister Joseph Muscat.
