B-52's to reissue 'Mesopotamia' EP with previously unreleased outtakes from David Byrne sessions

The B-52's have announced a reissue of their 1982 EP Mesopotamia, to be titled Ancient Culture: Mesopotamia, featuring previously unreleased outtakes and alternate mixes from sessions with Talking Heads frontman David Byrne. Kate Pierson has explained that the original release was rushed because the band's manager kept pushing them to get a record out quickly.
