Jarell Quansah banned two World Cup matches for red card against Mexico

England defender Jarell Quansah has been handed a two-match World Cup ban following his red card in Sunday's last-16 win over Mexico. FIFA reviewed the sliding challenge on Jesus Gallardo via VAR and classified it as serious foul play under Article 14 of their code of conduct. Quansah will miss the quarter-final and, if England advance, also the semi-final.
