OpenAI publicly rolls out GPT-5.6 and announces ChatGPT Work

OpenAI has received the Trump administration's green light to publicly release GPT-5.6, roughly two weeks after the model was restricted to government-approved organisations during a limited preview period. CEO Sam Altman described it as "the best model we have ever produced." OpenAI simultaneously announced a new service called "ChatGPT Work."
