Dragon Age creator says the series is likely dead after Veilguard's commercial flop

Dragon Age creator David Gaider has said he believes the beloved BioWare RPG series is likely dead following the poor commercial performance of Dragon Age: The Veilguard in 2024. Despite having left BioWare, Gaider said he would still be interested in working on a new entry if given the chance, steering it in a "dark and dangerous" direction and doing things "that will make people upset."
