McIlroy opens Scottish Open with a five-under 65

Rory McIlroy opened the Genesis Scottish Open with a brilliant five-under 65, setting the clubhouse target after the first round. The Northern Irishman said he relished his return to links golf and thoroughly enjoyed the round. McIlroy will look to carry this form into The Open Championship, which begins the following week.
