Poland bids for AI gigafactory with up to €1 billion in public funding

Poland has decided to enter the tender for a mid-scale AI gigafactory (LOT 1), with potential public co-financing of up to €1 billion across both project phases. The announcement was made by representatives of the Ministry of Digital Affairs at a conference on AI gigafactories. Such a facility would be the first of its kind in Europe.
