Polish hospital director slams health minister's plan as "scapegoating doctors"

Robert Makówka, director of a hospital in Płońsk, responded to the health minister's press conference on doctors' high salaries by writing his own 10-point healthcare reform plan. He called the ministry's programme "scapegoating doctors" and said the real problems in the system look entirely different. He also revealed the phenomenon of so-called "tourist doctors" who work at multiple facilities simultaneously.
