VW May Cut 100,000 Jobs – Unions Stage Protests in Germany

Volkswagen is considering expanding its planned job cuts to as many as 100,000 workers, sparking protests from German trade unions. The largest union at the company staged a protest on Thursday during a supervisory board meeting. Up to three VW factories may face closure, putting tens of thousands of jobs at risk.
