Meta Lets Users Generate AI Images From Public Instagram Profile Photos
Meta has enabled AI-generated images to be created from public Instagram profile photos without the explicit consent of the account owners. The company says users can opt out of the feature, but privacy campaigners have condemned the move as a "recipe for disaster".
