Glapiński: 25-Basis-Point Rate Cut Possible as Early as Autumn 2026
National Bank of Poland Governor Adam Glapiński said on Thursday that an interest rate cut in 2026 is possible if current economic conditions remain unchanged. He did not rule out submitting a motion to reduce rates by 25 basis points at the first Monetary Policy Council meeting after the summer break. Any move will depend on the macroeconomic situation.
