Rockstar forced to add age verification for GTA 6 in Australia

Rockstar Games has been forced to implement an age verification system for Australian players of Grand Theft Auto VI or face heavy financial penalties. Australian law requires age checks for adult-rated games. Such systems are widely disliked by players for being cumbersome and intrusive.
