Two 'super-puff' planets discovered — less dense than candy floss

Astronomers have discovered two gas giant planets orbiting the same star that rank among the least dense worlds ever found. Their density is so low that scientists compare them to candy floss. The findings were published online in the journal Nature on 9 July 2026.
