LGBTQ+ cruise ship Scarlet Lady refused by Egypt days after Turkey ban
The LGBTQ+-friendly cruise ship Scarlet Lady, carrying 2,000 passengers including Broadway performer Patti LuPone, was refused entry to Egypt just days after being blocked from Turkish waters. Passengers were informed of the change via notes slipped under their cabin doors, as the ship urgently sought alternative ports.
