Republicans Urge WNBA to Protect Caitlin Clark from Hard Fouls
Eleven Republican politicians have written to the WNBA demanding the league protect Indiana Fever star Caitlin Clark from "multiple attacks" on court. Phoenix Mercury forward Alyssa Thomas recently struck Clark in the throat during a game; no foul was called at the time, but the league later suspended Thomas for one game. Thomas and her family subsequently received racist abuse and death threats following the incident.
