EU Commission May Launch Infringement Proceedings Against Poland Over Ukraine Embargo

European Commission spokesman Olof Gill said on Thursday that the EC has not ruled out launching EU infringement proceedings against Poland over its continued embargo on Ukrainian products. For now, the Commission is trying to resolve the issue through dialogue with Warsaw. Poland remains the only EU member state maintaining unilateral import restrictions on Ukrainian goods.
