Bonnie Tyler dies at 75 — her luxury Algarve villa was her true home

Welsh singer Bonnie Tyler, famous for hits including "Total Eclipse of the Heart", "It's a Heartache" and "Holding Out for a Hero", died on 9 July 2026 at the age of 75. Tyler had made her home in a luxury, self-designed villa in the Algarve region of Portugal, where she spent what she described as her happiest times.
