Prosecutor Żurek seeks to lift immunity of KO senator Zawiła

Prosecutor General Waldemar Żurek has filed a motion to lift the parliamentary immunity of Civic Coalition senator Marcin Zawiła. Investigators allege that Zawiła, while serving as mayor of Jelenia Góra, allocated a flat without following the required tender procedure. The property was then sold to its tenants at a 99 percent discount, according to prosecutors.
